The destination grew. So did the ambition.

Snoqualmie Casino & Hotel brings gaming, dining, entertainment and overnight stays together. Snoqualmie’s hotel expansion gave an established casino a bigger growth opportunity: becoming an overnight destination. As digital agency of record, SnuggleMud supported that ambition through hotel search campaigns, a structured paid social funnel, and CTV and audio oversight. Paid search clicks increased 270% year over year at the first anniversary.

Challenge

Snoqualmie needed a digital program that could support distinct reasons to visit: gaming, dining, live entertainment and hotel stays. As the program expanded, traffic growth did not consistently translate into stronger conversion performance. Hotel acquisition required its own strategy, entertainment campaigns needed to follow the show calendar, and gaps in ticket tracking complicated measurement. The challenge was to connect that growing scope while keeping investment focused on meaningful customer actions.

Approach

As digital agency of record, SnuggleMud oversees the digital program and deployment across CTV and audio. Building on existing search activity, the team added hotel acquisition through Search and Performance Max, then developed paid social beyond awareness into a structured funnel. Creative, bidding and budget allocation evolved by business line. Search and social entertainment campaigns were coordinated with show dates, while reporting increasingly distinguished purchase actions from broader conversion activity.

Outcome

At the first anniversary, the search program delivered substantially more traffic at a lower cost per click, alongside stronger website engagement. A night out. A sold-out show. A weekend away. Snoqualmie has plenty of reasons to be chosen, and its digital program now works across more of them. Search attracted more visitors at a lower cost per click, website engagement strengthened, and later reporting showed growth in dining purchase actions. With hotel acquisition in the mix, the program reaches beyond the casino floor to support more of what makes Snoqualmie a destination.

FAQ

Questions we get asked

What happens in the first 90 days?

The first month is measurement and diagnosis. Access, conversion tracking and attribution get repaired before spend moves, because changing budgets against numbers you do not trust is guessing. The second month is restructuring: the accounts, the audiences and the pages the traffic lands on, with the first tests live. The third month is when scaling decisions start, made on evidence gathered in the two months before rather than on a plan written before we saw anything.

What does a senior-led agency model mean?

It means the person who designs the strategy is the person who runs it day to day, and the person you call when something looks wrong. There is no account executive relaying your question to an analyst you have never met, and no junior team learning your business on your budget. It also caps how many accounts we take at once. That limit is the cost of the model, and the reason it works.

What is the difference between a boutique agency and a holding company?

Attention versus leverage. A boutique gives you senior people and direct access, then hits a ceiling the moment a budget requires enterprise buying or research it cannot run in house. A holding company has that leverage and buries it under account layers and approval chains built for its own margins. The difference you feel day to day is not scale. It is who is actually doing the work on your account, and how many people sit between you and them.

When should a company consolidate its marketing agencies?

When the seams start costing more than the specialisms are worth. Three signals: your channels report different numbers for the same week, nobody can tell you what your brand spend did to your search performance, and decisions wait for the next monthly cycle. Consolidate when coordination has become the bottleneck — not simply because you have more than one vendor. Plenty of programs run well across two or three partners when someone is genuinely accountable for the handoffs.
